...and I'm stuck going to Baltimore to hang out with some people I barely know. Ugh, this always seems to happen to me. I get drafted for outings with friends of friends, and it always seems like I'm the youngest by 10 years and have absolutely nothing in common with these people.

Worse, it always seems there are always 6 more people than expected and I always end up not saying anything the whole day as I follow these people around. And derby day of all days! I'm actually the "buffer friend" that my good buddy is bringing alone so she won't have to make conversation with these people. Ever done that? It's great for herrrr!! LOL!

All I want to do is watch the horse race at a seedy bar! Is that too much to ask?? I've got some $$$ on the race, as my jockey is in it. The #9 horse is my favorite if you want to help wish him luck, and I've got him every which way with the favorites. Nelly needs a sofa and a trip to Ireland!!!!

I won $2300 last year and blew it on my family, finances and a trip to England. What am I like!! And yes, taxes this year were a nightmare as a result!
