Last night my 18 year old daughter came home from her class trip and we had to break the news to her. She took it hard...I think she thought he'd pull through. Anyway, we took him to be cremated this morning. They are very respectful here in Belgium. They had him layed out in a room with a tiny bouquet. They gave us time to say our last good bye. They placed his ashes in a beautiful handmade urn. They really treated him as special even though they spoke no english and we spoke very little french. Anyhow, I'm hanging in there. My 16 year old and I took yesterday and watched movies and just spent time together. It made the day more bearable. Well, thanks again for all the loving support.
