My doctor told me to "just take milk of magnesium" every day. (Yes, every day of my life. That was his answer to my problem. Geez! And he went to medical school for this?) I'm sorry about your pet turtle. Seems like everybody on the board has a pet that's sick. Right now, knock on wood, my beagles are healthy. One of mine ate a poisonous plant several months ago and almost had liver failure. $800 later and he was fine! Try to relax and be comforted in the fact that this doctor sounds like is genuinely concerned about your health and wants to get to the root of your problem. (no pun intended.)
