I went to college for social services. I loved all the placements and when I finsihed school I could not find any work in that field at all. I applied to three different cities too. Anyhow, yes the pay is pretty low for front line work. it's only when you get into management postions that you can make some decent money. I never did work in that foeld by the way but I think all the tarining I got and everything that I learned how changed me and helped make me a more empathetic person. I would live with your parents if it will be strained. Would your parenst really allow you to have your BF spend weekends there? Ince you move out, it is VERY hard to go back and live the way you're used to living. I would caution against it but that's just my two cents. let us know what you decide to do. Take care!
