Hi Linz,
Okay, been thinking about you over over the night. For some fast money for your celexa, how about a "garage sale"? Do you have those in England? Where you gather clothes, books, appliances, nicknacks, well... anything you don't need anymore and hold a sale. Some places they are called "tag sales" etc. Like a one house flea market.
Also, if you get your celexa from a General Practioner, maybe you could explain the situation to him and he might have a "colleage" who is a psychiatrist who may be willing to give your doctor some samples of Celexa. That way you wouldn't need to spend the money to see a psychiatrist in order to get the samples.
As far as jobs, now that it is getting warmer, a lot of places hire "seasonal help". Places that might interest you in particular are "nurseries" that do more business now that it is getting warmer and people are starting to buy their plants and fertilizers now. I know you have and interest in horticulture. You could either work right at the nursery caring for the flowers and plants or going to businesses and caring for their plants. I know the college I work at has a contract with "SIDS" (an American Nursery) and we have one lady who comes in once a week to water all the plants/flowers on the campus. She does this for other companies and uses the companies van. She loves it.
Other place that do more business in the warmer months are probably in hiring modes right now too. Working at the gift shops at the zoos, working with the baby animals at the kiddy zoo. Or nature centers and parks and lakes, again in the gift shops or caring for the plants and wildlife. It could get you through the summer at least. And nurseries are open all year.
I was going to suggest working at a HFS, as you are very knowledgeable, but that would be on your feet all day.
I know these jobs do not match the intelligence and education that you have, and you may not even want to do them long term, but for now, until you do get something that might pay better, it may be better than nothing.
Or, if you tried an office job, just make sure you got up and walked around every hour so that you aren't sitting all the time. I must do this at my desk job or the tummy pain is too much! It's not good for anyone to sit for that long, so nobody ever thinks anything of it, or assumes it is because I have tummy problems. And even if they did, there are laws that say an employer must make reasonable accomodations for anyone with a "disability" or who requires such options.
I will keep thinking for you! How are you doing today?
