Sorry for your situation Linz. You've been spending so much time trying to help me and so many others, and here you have such worries and you never even said a word! You need support too, superwoman!! I think Heather should put you on the payroll for all the work you do here on the boards!
Not sure how to advice you on the job situation, as I am a bit of a financial mess myself. It's not fear that money decides who gets houses, food, medicine, health care, etc. These should be available to every human being.
I too have a college degree, yet I am either told I am overqualified, or underqualified. What should they care if you are willing to take a job that you are overqualified for. They should consider themselves lucky.
About the Celexa, can you ask your doctor for samples? I've been on lexapro for about 6 months now, and have yet had to buy them on my own. My psych gives them to me for free as he gets so many free samples. I suppose if you are getting them from another type of doctor they wouldn't have samples though. And it would cost money to see a psych for this drug if insurance doesn't cover it. Does Si have insurance from his job that covers you? Wouldn't his insurance cover the Celexa, pain meds, and a visit to the psych to get Celexa samples?
I will try and think of some solutions for you overnight. Will get my mind off my own state of affairs for a while.
Hugs and hope for you, Linz.
