She went by her first name, and was just great for me. She listened, saw me weekly, visited me in the infirmary when I was sick. When I graduated, she bought me flowers.
She was so understanding and very caring. She even gave hugs often, which is very unusual with the "professional practices".
I agree, you should check this out. And they are totally free!! You may still have to see the psychiatrist for the medication, but the psychologists on campuses are better for talking. Psychiatrists are mainly for med management here in the States. That's why they don't spend as much time with you or are as empathetic and helpful.
