- as relates to this category, anyway. I once worked with Robin Williams. Years ago, when I worked with ComedySportz (an improv group), it was his custom at the time, when he was touring, to try to "work out" with the local improv groups in cities where he was performing. So that's what happened. He was supposed to appear with us on stage for one 5-7 minute sketch, but ended up doing the entire 2nd half of the show (about 45 minutes).
He was mind-bogglingly brilliant to watch and interact with as a performer, and then (world's biggest cliche)- was rather quiet and shy, but very nice, off stage.
A fun memory, for sure!
