Fibro and sleep       03/10/05 05:00 AM Edit Reply Quote Linz Reged: 09/01/03 Posts: 8242 Loc: England Fibromites typically have problems getting enough Stage 4 (restorative) sleep. And they did a study where they deprived normal people of Stage 4 sleep and they got Fibro-like symptoms (short term tho). The connection between Fibro and bad-sleep is a chicken and egg situation - no one knows which comes first. With my bad flares it's a vicious cycle - I start feeling ill, my sleep is affected, so I feel worse, so I sleep worse, etc. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
