Those docs are so intimidating. It's like when they put on that white coat they become these scary, authoritative, nonapproachable people.
I forget what I want to say, or chicken out because they are so intimidating to me. I know this is just because I have had bad doctorss. A caring doctor with a white coat would probably break the spell of the white coat syndrome!
I hate my doctors!!!!!!!!! I have the same experiences as you. It leaves me feeling frustrated, not important, desperate, and angry. We are in pain and they should recognize our dependence on their expertise and answers. Not push us aside to bide some time. A week for us is an eternatiy when in pain.
I called a GI doc for an appointment because I am such horrid pain and he can't see me until Aug. 23rd!!!
Oh well, guess he doesn't think my pain is a priority. Not like he's living like this for the next 7 months! Wish these docs could get a little of their own medicine!
