I went out looking for places to live with my mom this weekend and found a great place! It's a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for $90 more than what I currently pay for a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment.
I love the idea of having 2 bathrooms just in case I get an attack. Only downside would be having to clean 2 bathrooms!
It's also got a very nice kitchen, washer and dryer, and a fireplace in the living room! Oh and a ton of windows, which will be nice since I much prefer natural light. Only problem is I have so much furniture so the windows might get covered a little bit.
The carpet has some stains, but the realtor said that was probably a plus because the owners have no problem letting me have a cat because of the old carpet. And I figure I can slap some furniture and/or rugs over to cover them!
I submitted my application and put down a small deposit yesterday. The realtor said he'd run my credit check (which should turn out great.. I have excellent credit!) and run it by the owners, and give me a call back sometime this morning.
So it's 9:30am and no call yet. As soon as I get the okay, I gotta jump on the phone quick so I can switch my utilities and rent a truck this weekend!
