Waiting on call from radiology dept.       02/07/05 07:47 AM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 Hopefully, they can schedule my MRI ASAP. This back pain has become worse. I called the doctor's office this morning to tell them that I was still having pain ---even after taking the pain medication. Saturday night I experienced a new pain---a shock-like sensation running up and down my spine, like a nerve was pressing on my spinal cord!!!! I thought I was going to either pass out or throw up! Last night I couldn't even lie down in the bed ---after taking the pain medicine. Then I realized (DUH!) the prescription said that I could take 1 or 2 pills. So I ----reluctantly---took the 2nd one and finally got some sleep. When the pain med wore off, the pain was back---and I was back in the recliner! I'm terrified to go to bed now!
