Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hi all,
I just need to vent for a minute because I.AM.SO.MAD!!!
Because the BC Government and Services Union has been on strike for the last couple of weeks, the local Colleges have had rotating strikes - I have missed 2 days (one day for each of the last 2 weeks). Now, I don't like missing days of school that I paid for but I DO support the strike as they haven't gotten a raise in ages when everyone else in the district has and yada yada yada and so I was okay with it.
Well, so they have now decided to CANCEL our Reading Break next week - when I am going to Seattle!! Now I am NOT okay with it! I can't believe they can just cancel our break on such short notice! Now I have to cut our Seattle trip short, but I am still going to miss a day (at least) of classes because I am DETERMINED to go now that we have booked everything and I am so excited to meet up with Shell and everyone.
They are even talking about extending the whole semester at the end, and rescheduling all of our exam if the strike carries on which will ALSO screw me up! Adrian and I are supposed to be going to Mexico in the first week of May to meet up with his family and I will _really_ be upset if I can't go to that.
I am just so frustrated because there isn't anything I can do. GRRRRRrrrrrrrrr!!
