I just transferred from the bed to the recliner at about 5 this morning to accommodate the stabbing pain in my back. (My husband carried the recliner upstairs to our bedroom so I wouldn't have to go downstairs each morning to the cold living room in the dark. Bless his heart!) A friend gave me the name of her rheumatologist yesterday. I need to check and see if he's on my insurance list and make an appt., I guess. I don't know what else to do. And yes, the hot shower does help! I could stay in there all day if it weren't for having to pay the hot water bill. Ahh, your poor mother! I'm sorry she can't take the Vioxx anymore. And the Celebrex doesn't help her? I guess they each work differently. Hopefully, she will find something else that can alleviate her pain. Take care! I'm hoping for a good cry soon.
