You know, I've been thinking about this for a while. Chamomile is a member of the hay fever group (nelly's non-scientific ranking  ) and it can provoke headaches in hay fever sufferers, which is why I drink chamomile with benedryl. Classic case of over-medicating, right? Welcome to my world.
So I drink a lot of chamomile and have the opportunity to try a lot of different brands, and I wanted to rank the biggest offenders in order, to see if they differ from anyone else's opinion!
Tetly Chamomile-- no headaches
Lipton Caffiene Free Herbal Tea, "Quietly Chamomile" -- headaches 50% of the time
Lipton "Soothing Moments, Chamomile 100% Pure"-- headaches 70% of the time
Celestial Seasonings Caffiene free Natural Herb Tea Chamomile-- headaches 90% of the time
Celestial Seasonings Organic Tea, Chamomile-- 100% headaches
Now keep in mind the headaches are low-grade, and are solved with a simple over-the-counter antihistamine. But I wanted to see if other people's experiences were par with mine.
I'd be game to see if there were another chamomile tea out there (available in America) that had less side effects in hay fever sufferers!
