Sorry guys this will be a little graphic but after I thought I had blood the other night I checked the next time I went and it was almost black and I know this can be a sign of blood. So I had my doctors visit today and he said I'm pretty much suffering from starvation due to the fact that nothing is being absorbed. He also hopped me on the scales and I'm down to 56.5 kg (I'm 5 ft 10 so this is bad) and that's 5 kilos less than my last weigh in at the specialists in late november. Plus I'm not watching my weight or anything in terms of food so there's no explanation for the continual weight loss. So I have to call the hospital on Friday if they haven't called me first and see if I can get my colonoscopy brought forward. I might be having it in the next two weeks if all goes well, in the meantime I get to continue feeling like rubbish and worrying about whether or not there is something more wrong than IBS! Anyway, guess that's enough stressing and complaining. Thanks as always for listening.
