Tikka Masala is sold in Indian restaurants but apparently it was invented in the UK by either Indian or Pakistani immigrants as a mild dish suitable for the British palate.
We don't have white sauce on bolgnese, just mince with tomato, basil, peppers onion and mushroom with grated parmesan. Think Chili without the beans with italian herbs.
Tagliatelle is a flat type of pasta. Its like thick spaghetti that got run over by a steam roller! We have it a bit over here too. Its really good with creamy sauces, very similar to fettucine.
