y'know I have actually killed the idea of the stripes (i think!) and gone back to a painting/print with wine in it or a wallhanging with the colour in it to hang over the bed. Want to draw the eye there without making the room smaller looking.
Will get them to paint the head of bed wall cream first and then see how it goes. Might even do a fancy headboard, we'll see...

Blackout lining is wonderful, especially the one they use in hotels. At home my room is a disaster, the curtains are really thin and the room is south east facing. At night the lighthouse a few miles away shines through the crack in the curtains on a clear night.
Haven't seen celeb BB yet- who's on it? I didn't even know it was on, haven't seen any TV since Tuesday's Desperate Housewives due to DIY.,
Will post pics as soon as its all done, then on to project hall, stairs and landing and then its finished!!
