Aaaaaaaaaaahh!!
MY MOM IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!
It's like every day she is doing something to try to upset me, I am really getting annoyed. I am not a little kid anymore and I can see through a lot of the things she does now, but it still just drives me up the wall. She can't just leave me in peace, and I am trying so hard to stay calm but am afraid I am just going to LOSE IT on her soon.
She has been sick the past week with a stomach flu, so of course it is like the whole world has to stop. I am being really nice to her, but I have to notice how ironic it is that she is expecting so much when she is ill when her favourite expression to me since I was about 8 (when I first got sick) is a very dismissive, "It'll pass".
She called me upstairs yesterday and she was just rambling on about all sorts of things, that didn't make any sense. She goes running a lot, and she is _always_ trying to make everyone else in my family do it too but NONE of us are into running - especially me. So now she said she wants us all to go in this marathon thing, and I said no.. and so did everyone else.. I am busy with school, looking for a job, and not to mention trying to control my crazy stomach and just have no desire to start training for a marathon.. so anyway, she starts crying and going on about how we have to do it because of my Uncle that passed away.. but that doesn't make any sense because he wasn't a runner or anything... I hate to say it, but as she is always trying to think up new ways to guilt us into doing whatever her chosen hobby on the year is, I think she is just trying to use being upset about my Uncle to make everyone do it, which I think is a terrible thing to do.
Then she goes on to talk about how she decided the other night that she thinks she and my Dad should get a divorce, which is completely insane but she couldn't even function without my Dad doing everything for her (his nickname in the family is her "errand boy") and she is so awful to him, and he just takes it all the time and he is SO GREAT. Then she goes on about how her counsellor (a guy she used to work with) knows her so much better than anyone else, and how he could come in and tell me 5 things about her, which my Dad could never do... uh, okay...??? I just thought it was totally inappropriate!
Then she kept rambling on about living together as adults, and all this... it was weird, I really couldn't make sense of half the things she was saying.
Then today, it is snowing, and she has forbidden me to take my car becuase I don't have snow tires.. but I have all weather tires, and the snow is really wet and the roads are fine. So my Dad said he would drop me off, but then she said no to that too, and that I had to walk.. even though I have no snow boots or anything.. What happened to adults living together?? I have a bad cold, a bad stomach, heavy backpack, it's snowing and the walk will take me like 45 minutes!
I went downstairs and had a FIT to Adrian about how we HAVE to save up money soon so we can move out at the earliest possible moment!
Sorry for the venting once again, but she is making me CRAZY!!!!
Off to school now, wish me luck!
