Wow, what a way to start the new year! Yours tellin me!! But really I told Shane this morning when I was doing the dishes....I sure was glad he was up when the fire started.... about 11-12 years ago now on New Years Day Morning (about 7am) I was woken up by my ex boyfriends father (we all lived together at the time) that we were flooding.... we lost our apartment that day...very scary!! But only water damage....fire would be DEVISTATING!! I hope Shane is better now. Holy cow, I can't believe the fire story!!! How scary!!! I better get a fire extinguisher. YES, get one for sure....that is the 2nd time in about a year that we have used it...and both times in the kitchen.... the kitchen size ones are only like $15 and SO worth it!! I'm glad you guys were able to put it out.
