Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | I got a migraine for Christmas! BAH HUMBUG!!!!!

We had a lovely day yesterday, took the train to Connecticut to spend Christmas with my SIL and our niece Lexi who's 12. I took all kinds of precautions to avoid triggering a migraine, BUT.... At the last possible minute, just when I thought I was going to make it, BLAM!!!

What I hadn't figured on was a surprise my SIL had for us. There's a house in Norfolk that is one of those huge Christmas displays that people come from miles around to see. But you have to get out of the car and walk around to see all the parts of it. I was all bundled up but just that 10 or 15 minutes out in the below freezing air did me in. I felt it hit half way through the display.

Oh well. It is what it is. I made it 8 days this time. I sure would like to go another month again. I lose 2 days every time I get one. I'm way behind in emails and phone calls to friends and family. I've had to give up so much due to the fibro and IBS and migraines, I REALLY don't want to have to give up contact with friends and family too.

Bah Humbug! I've got the "brain flu" today, Andy keeps sending me back to bed because I look so sick.
