My kids are 6,4, and 2. Two oldest are boys. Now Sarah has run around bottomless with them tons of times, bathed with them, the works, but for some reason it's only been since she potty trained that either of them have "taken notice" of the difference there!!
The oldest, Luke, was first. She hopped up to go potty and he must have caught a quick glimpse, then bent down and got his face as close as he could and just STARED!! I was busting up, then he said frantically, "Mommy!!! The pee pee! (what they call their penis) It's GONE!!!!" I explained the difference but he just kept STARING with his face as close as he could get it, then he went to TOUCH and she smacked him away and said, "No! Just stop it Wuke!" (good girl, you'll probably say that more often in your life, ugh! )
Today Aaron finally noticed, too. He was using the potty and she was waiting frantically for a turn so I pulled her panties off to get her ready. I went to set her down on the pot when he stopped me and said, "No!! WAIT!!! I have to pull her pee-pee out first!!!" I was just DYING, I had to hear him say it again, so I said, "What Aaron?" So he sounded concerned this time and said, "Her peeepee is not out, I need to pull out for her first!!"
Oh my WORD, too funny around here (when it's not a mad-house anyway)

Michelle
