Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I remember the days when I worked so hard for Christmas, and as moms of small children,most of us push ourselves to make sure everything is p-e-r-f-e-c-t for them. I now have grandchildren, I don't bake much anymore, my h asked for a pecan pie last night, so that will happen this week. As far as standing in the kitchen all day making candy and such, no way, I'll try to eat all of it anyway. I don't make cookie/candy trays to share with friends and neighbors anymore either. People don't miss it, and, we are all trying to watch our weight and do just as well without it.
IF you still feel you must, do a little, your mind will never slow down and let you rest if you don't cut some of the things on that list. Hope it helps.

I am sick right now, so the remainder of my grandkids shopping will be done on the pc, I love to shop online, I still have my nightgown on and I have been sitting in here for a few hours. Getting ready for a nap, I have to get feeling better, still going to the doc tomorrow. I have a sinus infection.
