Hey All--
This court date has been looming over my head for 4 months now, and there's such a weight off my chest now that it's over. Stoopid transit cops with their stoopid tickets. Must have been a hundred people pulled over that day, and our dear Nelly was one of them!!
Just came home from court and I'm not going to work today, I've decided. I was so preoccupied with fighting the traffic ticket that I left this morning with not one med in my purse. Yikes!! I'd cleaned out my bag and forgotten to put my meds back. I was so sidetracked by having to go to court I didn't even realize til I was parking my car!!
So I was going to fight it, but didn't want an alien to try to rip itself out of me today, so I totally fell on my sword in court, instead. Luckily, the judge (who scared my pants off, btw!) knocked my fine off by more than half and cleared the points as well!! With that and me not having an attack and needing my meds, I'm having a lucky day so far!! 
I'm packing for NY and I'm going to be catching a plane in a couple of hours so if I'd had an attack in open court... Well, that wouldn't have set the stage for a good travel day! 
I'm going to be off the boards until next week, but I wanted to wish every one of you a good weekend with people you love!!
If you see a tall blonde tourist in NY this weekend, tell her congratulations on her court date. It could be me, and if it is, then THANK YOU!
