We have this reward programme at work where staff from the whole organisation nominate a colleague to win a "recognition award" for excellent service, being dependable and engaging and generally representing all that is good about our company. I have been nominated twice before but didn't win the award for our department- well this quarter I WON! I got a voucher for €200 ($265!) that can be spent at hundreds of shops all around the country. I am thinking of getting some jewellery- something I would never have bought for myself otherwise, rather than the suits for work that i need! Needless to say I was delighted, and am going shopping Saturday with my Mum and sisters so can get them to help me choose, Was thinking of getting a necklet and asking for the matching earrings for Christmas....waht do you guys think? -------------------- S.
