Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Ok I need soem advice about family!! LONG!!!!

Well I don't have the best relationship with my Dad's wife and her kids!!! With my gram being sick I was trying to get ahold of my Dad!! I called and he called back!!
I asked "where were you"

He said " I was at your step sisters for her son's B day party"

I said " O Whatever"

He said " It was just a little party heather family only, don't get mad"

I said " Whatever"

We talked for a few min and then hung up with each other!! Ok so as you have probbaly gussed I was not invited!! I guess I am not Family!!! This is a common problem!! If I miss one thing then I am not invited to anything for a long time!! I mised her other son's B Day because I had company from out of town and only got the invit two days before the party!!

So this is what I have decided I am no longer going to invite them to our get together or party's!! I always did, because I didn't want to be rude or petty but I am sick of this crap!! I am tired of geting my feelings hurt by people who don't even give a crap about us!! So Here is my question!!

Do I say something or just stop inviting them!!! Should I tell them to no longer worry about inviting us and I will no longer worry about them or just let it ride for awhile!!

Also I am trying to decide if i am going to go over there for Thanks Giving!! I love my dad and don't want to cause anymore problems there than what we already have with each other!! But I don't want to spend my holiday with a bunch of people who DON'T want me there!! Who act like they have to put up with me because he is my dad!!! Man I wish my mom still lived here!!
