I love the role playing idea!! I think hubby has a pair of scrubs, I'll have to be sure and ask him to put them on!! HEHE!! right now, I'm still in a LOT of pain. I was only able to stay at work about 4 hours yesterday and than my toes swelled up and turned purple!! Hey, at least they matched the cast! I thought the sweeling was going to make the cast blow off! I cried all the way home, crawled into bed and hubby brought my some pain pills and an ice pack. I talked with the ortho dr this morning and he said I need to keep it elevated (DUH!) but thats hard to do at work. The problem is I work in a small eye dr's office. Its just me and the dr. The dr has 2 others offices he works in so he isn't even here all the time so if I'm not here, the office is closed. I'm going to try to work a few hours each day this week. People are just going to have to understand! The ortho doc is calling in a script for some Darvocet as my supply of Vicodin is about out and I wanted something different so I don't get addictted to it I asked the ortho dr if the poor care I received in the ER had any merritt for any sort of suit and he said that splints and crutches are standard ER procedure. I explained to him how the dr treated me and he said the dr showed bad judgement but that was about it. I am still going to write a letter of formal complaint!
I'm hoping some of the pain will be gone by the weekend, thats when my sex-a-thon will have to begin! Thanks for all the well wishes.
