I haven't read any books yet. We are low on funds right now, so I do much of my research on the internet. Type Fibro in Google and it will bring up a bunch of sites you can check out.

I cope b/c I don't have a choice. I also do not have as bad of a case as you do. I have mild discomfort pain that migrates around, so not everything hurts at once just in sections. It is not unbearable like your pain, if gets more than mild discomfort I take a Naproxen or Extra Strength Tylenol. The worst thing for me is the migraine headaches I get them usually 2x a week and the feeling tired all the time.

My husband is dealing with it like a champ. I think he gets tired of hearing me whine but he never says so. My MIL is very supportive too. But my Mom insists there is nothing wrong with me. She says that once I was diagnosed I took the ball and ran with it. I asked what she meant she said that she thinks I made myself worse after I found out diagnosis. I am more aware of symptoms now. But I do not think I made myself worse. But the more sleep I lose the worse I feel. And the unrestful sleep started about 5 months ago when hubby and I were having marital problems. So my body has not caught up on all that lost sleep. I sleep better now with meds but still not refreshing sleep all night. So not everyone will be supportive and helpful but you can't let that bother you. You need to focus on getting better.
