I am so excited! Things have been going great!
I found out about "Van Helsings Curse" on the radio last night, a halloween- oriented, creepy "Rockopera". It also happens to coincide with being on my birthday! Cna anything get any better? I hopped on line to tell my BF, and he of course bought tickets immediately.
And it is narrated by the one and only Dee Snider*! It is produced by him and was his idea.
*Dee Snider was the lead singer of Twisted Sister, and also the guy that made the Strangland movie, in case you didn't know him. He has now been the night time DJ on a Philly rock station and i listen to him almost every night. He rocks!
I am so excited. I think you are supposed to go in costume, or wear a scary mask, I am not sure and have to look for more details. There is only one show in Pennsylvania, and is prolly a hike for me, but I don't care. Maybe I can hit the bars in Philly on the way home.  (It's the big 2 - 1, not like I am letting anyone forget!)
This solves the whole "I am bummed out about such a 'big' birthday coming up because I am lonely and don't have many friends anymore and it would suck to go 'party' with just the BF"-thing.
And on another note, I have been getting offers from potential new-friends to go out for drinks once I turn of age, so my empty gap will probably start to fill up alittle.
Not that everything is about drinking, but it kinda stinks when you are not allowed to go in to most social spots, or have to sit in the "kiddie section". I could care less about the drinking part of turning 21.
Wow, i always knew that things would start to get better, I have been so depressed.
Anyone going on any haunted walks yet!!??? I expect everyone that does to report back here, I want to hear all about it!
