Thank God for Celebrex and Flexeril       10/05/04 06:30 AM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 I've pulled something in my back and am having horrible back spasms at night. It hurts during the day, but it is worse when I lie down at night. I cannot get comfortable on my back---or my side. The doctor prescribed Celebrex (and Flexeril, a muscle relaxant, for at night). Oh my gosh, this Celebrex is a miracle drug. I woke up about 6 a.m. in severe pain, took one Celebrex and within minutes, could feel my back relaxing! I think the Flexeril kept me up last night (as many medications do.) Has anyone taken it? Does it cause insomnia for you? Is it addictive? I noticed it says not to take it for more than 2 weeks.
