I am relatively new to the boards and just finding my way around little by little. My son called last night saying he was planning a "family" trip that would require me to be away from home for four days and nights. Uh, No Way Jose! I'm right in the middle of going off of my HRT and getting used to my new IBS diet . I have lost ten pounds and I feel better, but I'm not cured by a long shot. Nothing I said was getting through to the boy who is 27 BTW. In fact, he's mad because I was not cooperating with him on this deal.
I've always hated riding long distances in cars. Has anyone traveled by Amtrack lately? I did in 1983, but I can't remember if the sleeper cars have electrical outlets, so that I could plug in my C-Pap for sleep apnea. My son is impossible. I don't know who he gets it from. Any suggestions? I'm 55 and a whole lot less flexible than I used to be. Thanks, Teresa
