Can Advil rev you up?       10/03/04 06:14 PM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 You ladies are going to think I'm nuts, but I think when I take Advil, it gives me more energy and hypes me up! Is this possible? I do have bipolar disorder, and a lot of medications that make people drowsy keep me awake (like Benadryl, Nyquil, Tylenol PM---I will lie awake all night if I take them before bedtime.) But Advil????? I've had to take Advil the past week for a strained back, and on the days I have, I've noticed I've been going 90 mph. I can't stop moving. I've cleaned out closets and gotten more done than usual. The other night I took 2 Advil before bedtime and I tossed and turned all night. I was not in pain (so it wasn't that that kept me awake). I was having that really light sleep like something was preventing me from getting into a deep sleep. Has anyone ever heard of Advil doing this? Or am I just weird? What is in this stuff?
