Re: My son has to have his adenoids and tonsils removed!       09/16/04 08:19 PM Edit Reply Quote Unregistered My younger brother had his tonsils and adenoids removed like 8 years ago maybe when he was 8 years old. And I don't know how they do it there, but here it is done as an outpatient surgery - meaning he got to come home like right after if was done. That sounded nice until my mom realized what an undertaking that was to deal with because his throat hurt so much he'd cry and he threw up and all that.
