So I spoke to the trainer at PetSmart during the last class we had. She thinks getting a 2nd dog is a GREAT idea. she said 90% of the time it will solve all your problems. You take your dog to meet other dogs at the shelter and let her choose her new doggie companion. Then it's like you gave her a new friend and she will do aNYTHING for you! BUT if she doesn't like the new dog...watch out! that's the 10% of the time where it causes major problems.
