I had to give 30 days notice after he and his girlfriend had violated my rights in some awful ways.... because his name was on our shared lease.... I almost called and reported him for statutory rape- his GF was 15 and I know they slept together.. he was about 19/20, and I was about the same... college kids.. sad part was he had been a friend. But yes- my folks would have loved had their buyer made an offer like that- their house was empty for 6 months! actually as it was they asked to move up the close and mom and dad jumped on it..e ven if it was just 2 weeks.. it was less interest on the mortgage... and sooner they could refinance the new house for less with the money they got from the old one.
