Thanks Barbie and Jules. Barbie... those are the cutest flop ear bunnies!!

Thing is... I've been searching for info generally for months and on this site for several days and haven't found any IBS sufferers with stories like mine. People talk about having D 10-20 times a day (I can't imagine!) for a few days, then they are fine until the next attack. I always just go once and then I'm fine.

No stress to speak of really... The times I am ok are not really consistent. I've tried the food diary but can't keep it up. I do know that some greasy foods are generally worse than fresh things and broiled/grilled meat.

I don't eat gums or mints or anything "diet".

It is probably not IBS, but I haven't heard of anything else that would be a lifelong thing except allergies. And the fact that I can eat the same things at different times of the day and be ok seems to indicate that it is not allegies either.

Any more input? Thanks!
