So you'll be moving north? Is that near Alexandria Bay? Since you're moving anyway, why not move real close to the new job?
Special Education teacher? What does that mean, Kree? What kind of special education is that? What kind of students? What grades?
Kree, this is great news. Great news indeed. I'm very happy for you. I have no doubt you'll be the best they ever had.

Yes, I'm moving to the next town to the west of Alex Bay! Don't worry, I'm looking into getting an apt as close to work as possible, especially after what I've heard about the harsh winters up North. Right now it looks like I'll be living with my cousin for a while first, though, because I haven't been able to find any decent apts yet. But he only lives about 20 mins away from the school so that's not too bad at all!
Well, I haven't found out the specifics about my students, etc. yet, but I do know I'll be teaching a resource room for students in grades 9-12. That means they'll be coming to me for extra help and I'll also teach them strategies and skills they can use to be successful in their content area classes. I did pretty much the same thing during student teaching and it was really fun and rewarding so I'm really looking forward to it.
Thanks again, Bev. You're such a sweetie to be so supportive.
