(90x3)+(20)...... you would have to do it like this to get it accurate.... (100x3)-(20+(10x3)) that way, you get the answer of 300..... it all matters on how you are solving the problem.... there is absolutely nothing missing, just solving a different way gets you a different answer.... ALSO !!!!!!!! ok, they gave 90 each.... thats 270, so they paid the clerk, so you cant add another 20 to it, then you add the 30 bucks they got back..... then you get the answer.... what you were trying to do is add the money of the clerks to it when it was already on there...... so my new theory.... payment:clerk and room(90x3)+money gotten back(10x3) therefore, you get 300!!! -------------------- "We just do what we do.
