Know you didn't ask this buttinsky, but since I did always do insurance when I worked and disability was one of the things I did, wanted you to know that you WILL number one find a doctor who KNOWS what you're going through and number 2 will know you have to be out on disability with it sometimes.
Sounds to me as though she doesn't know enough about your condition to even treat you for it. You need someone who is more up to date on this. Believe me I am speaking from experience because if I had doctors who knew what they were doing when I had different problems I wouldn't have needed as many surgeries as I have had.
I wouldn't have almost lost my life about 3 years ago either if I had been diagnosed correctly when I first went to the ER so DON'T let anyone try to make you think it's all in you head.
There are soooo many new diseases out there now and doctors need to do their homework more. Even with the IBS I know there are people on the boards who know more than the doctors do. The same thing with your FIBRO. Because they don't know enough about it they just dismiss it. You're a SMART COOKIE so don't let anyone tell you anything you know isn't true. The problem today is doctor's think everything is in Women's minds, not their bodies.
When you don't feel well you have the doctor write your notes so you can go out on short term disability at work when you need to. I'm glad you have it at work. Not too many companies even offer it like they did years ago. (Now remember I don't go back to Abraham Lincoln's Day) LOL but more companies offered it more just a few years ago.
