Hi Laura Sue,
Thank you so much for your kind words. My aunt who was my mother's favorite sister and a wonderful aunt to me when I was a child will be greatly missed but always remembered. She moved to California while I was still a child but came to visit fairly often. Just wanted to share a portion of the email we received as that is how we found out. Here it is: She passed away quietly, while in a comatose state. She was strong to the end, but her heart just gave out. I know that you will miss her, as we, her children will. She loved all her nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters. She was a very genuine person and would do so many little things for others. It will be difficult to imagine life without her.
Laura Sue,she really was a wonderful person and I know my mother would be heartbroken if she didn't have alzheimers and knew about her death.
She came to visit with my mother's other sister when my mother first was hospitalized with symptoms of alzheimers. Both of my mother's sisters weren't diagnosed with it until quite a few years after my mother but yet she went first as probably her sister will. For some reason my mother has the slow progressing type of alzheimers.
I just wanted to share that part of the email with you, and again, thank you.
Hugs,
Pat
