In October 2001, I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (IC). It is a very painful pelvic chronic condition with the bladder. There is not cure, but the FDA has approved only 1 medication that will help heal the lining of the bladder and it is Elmiron. I wanted to know if you have ever heard of this condition and if so, can you recommend anything to do to help alleviate the symptoms? I stopped taking my medication around Christmas and now it has come out of remission and is very uncomfortable. You can urinate and then 5 mins. later, you feel like you've got to urinate again.
