I have classic IBS symptoms that are coming under control with the EFI diet. Hopefully, someone with similar symptoms will also read your post and reply! In the meantime, if you do a search of all the Forums for "intestinal bacteria" or "bacterial overgrowth", this should turn up useful posts. I think Heather mentions this in her first book as something we should all be tested for before accepting a diagnosis of IBS since the symptoms can mimic those of IBS. (When I was first diagnosed with IBS, I checked out a library book by someone affiliated with either The Mayo Clinic or Johns Hopkins that discussed bacterial overgrowth.
