Nurse Practitioner said that it depends on which antibiodic they put you on....some are only for three days and some are for a week. She knows I have IBS and that did seem to make a difference as to which one they use as some are harsher on the guts than others. I think that once the infection is out of your body you'll start feeling better....try not to get anxious about it and as GaGa says "this too shall pass". You know you have been here before and have gotten much, much better. Rest, drink lots of fluids and take care care of yourself. Still a few days before we're full swing into the holiday season.
