Hi Dragonfly,

After having my very first bladder infection in June, I just got another one a couple of weeks ago!!! Anyway, I immediately ran over to first care when I felt the symptoms and asked about cranberry juice, etc. The nurse said that drinking cranberry juice/tablets every day can help alleviate an infection, but once the bacteria is actually present, the only way to get rid of it is through antibodics, so I did a round for a week. I'd also like to know if there is something to take once the symptoms start presenting. I have been drinking cranberry juice every day though.
