Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hi thought Id introduce myself since I'm sure ill be on here quite often. my name is Lucy and I'm 26 years old I've had IBS-D since 2 years now and i have just found this site. I ordered the books so I'm excited receive them and learn all I need to know about the IBS diet. I suffer much less now than I used to when I worked an extremely stressful hectic job. now I have a more laid back job but non the less I still get attacks at least once a week if not more and of course they usually happen when I'm out visiting and such...I'm also Emetaphobic, (phobia of vomit) so I have lots of anxiety during the winter that does not help my IBS situation at all on top of the anxiety I have about having an attack outside my home. I hope to learn lots here and I really hope this works cause Ive tried so many things that did not work that I'm skeptic of everything now. I Do have lots of support from my fiancee so that help a lot.
