He's my oldest and he's 12. He'll be 13 in two months (God help us!) The hormones and the girl stuff is SLOWLY starting to happen. I'm gonna be one of those terrible moms that pick out his girlfriends for him. I tell him when I think a girl is cute or if I think one is nice and I also tell him which ones I think are "boy crazy" or bad news! He's not one to admit liking someone to me BUT I find out by his best friend's mom who tells me cause her son tells her EVERYTHING! Sometimes too much
Both my youngest and I have blue eyes. Hubby has brown and the oldest got green somehow. He hates the freckles but does like his green eyes since that's kind of a minority color. He thinks that makes him unique. I'm not sure when babies eyes change. I think the oldest one had blue for quite some time before they changed permanately green. Funny how you and hubby both have brown. That's the dominant color, Serena's might turn brown.
I used to go darker with my hair color too when I was younger. My natural color is much darker than I have it now but I started getting grey very young(like 21 or so.... )You are right though, the older I get the lighter I want it. I have pale skin too and if I go too dark I looked washed out too. I put red in mine with sometimes leftover highlights from my sister's blonde color.(My hairdresser comes to my house and does mine and my sister's hair for DIRT cheap!)She's been doing it for the last 15 years or so...we are very lucky to have her. I hope she never gets tired of doing it on the side! )
