Yes, I have enormous generalized anxiety disorder - it is horrible and can be debilitating - i also do notwant to take anything that starts affecting my bowel motility - i tried the SSRI cipralex and was feeling great - my ulcer started to act up )Ithink) so iinsisted i stop it - now i am not sure that i should have - my gi doctor said she wants me to start back on it =- if my ulcer flares - she wants to do a scope tosee if it is bleeding or not - if not, then periot my calm it down andi can stay on the ssri - the lorazapam is fine but i worry that i may cause "C" - I don't think it iwllbut my anxiety is high about it - i had an attack a few days ago but i think it was from eating broccoli - i am still trying to calm it down. DebbieIBS-C Like I say- i still have 2 bowel movements adaywith an attack but i never completely empty andthe bowl is spasmodic.
