Today I'm sick (see diet board), so I'm taking time to take care of myself and think about life while eating a delicious bowl of plain pasta with a sprikle of salt and pepper, you know the drill!!!

I will be turning 40 next december and I don't like it. I'm wondering how I will cope with this IBS thing when I'm older. I used to be a «ball» of energy, but now I'm slowing down and I'm living every minute of life as if it would be my last. Having being diagnosed with IBS at age 39 has reinforced my awareness that I'm getting older... Anybody has any advice about turning 40? I guess there is no pill for that? Anyway, I still look 35... so...

Any SCI FI lovers on this board? I must admit I'm quite exited by the new season of Battlestar Galactica starting tonight on the Space Chanel, I think its a really dark and profound show. I will curl up with my blanket and apple sauce to watch it and think of something out of this world... And thanks for all the moral support from Sand (you are the a real IBS pro) and SYl from Saskatchewan (buy the way I only eat the regular chips and there's quite good). And Valerie too...

The origin of the Atomic Rooster comes from my vast (too vast because it plays tricks with my mind sometimes!) knowledge of music history. Atomic Rooster was actually the name of a sixties rock band with drummer Carl Palmer (from ELP). So, when I saw Atomic Rose, my mind probably mixed it up with Atomic Rooster.

Anyway, when the D flares up, you REALLY feel like an Atomic Rooster, running around ready to explode!!!
