recent colonscopy       09/30/06 06:45 PM Edit Reply Quote DaisyDeaux Reged: 01/29/04 Posts: 4 Loc: Southeast Lousiiana I need some advise - a recent colonscopy showed I have severe diverticular disease and the MD said that 2/3 of my colon would have to be removed. I go see a surgeon for a second opinion on 10/19. Has anyone encountered anything like this. She also told me to go on a bland diet and eat refined sugar for the diverticular attacks.
