got my surgery date!       05/17/06 07:43 AM Edit Reply Quote jaime g Reged: 07/27/05 Posts: 961 Loc: new york city july 14th! so excited. now i just have to figure out what exactly to tell my boss... summer's slow here, so that's fine, but we're having a workshop sometime in july, and i very well might miss it. which isn't great, but isn't a huge problem - it'd just be weird to elect to take a week off during it. do i say 'surgery' and not say what kind? (my dr. suggested lying and saying it's for a hernia, but i worry about not actually having the facts to back that up in conversation.) do i pretend it's a family vacation thing that i'm obligated to go on? definitely not telling my (awkward, male) boss that i'm having a boob job! -------------------- jaime ibs-a (mostly d) // vegetarian Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
